Many of them are wealthy too — and perhaps came out after accumulating wealth — so are often innoculated against the harsh realities of life for many LGBTQ people. They are okay so everyone must be, right?

Having me a few gay conservatives here in the UK I think many of them feel economic policies are more important that social ones — a free economy leads to equality in their minds. And as bad as some conservatives are here in the UK I’m not sure they are as bad as Trump.
